On 18th December 2007 Turisme de Catalunya certified Santa Susanna with the Sports Tourist Destination. The sign recognises that the town is prepared to receive teams, federations and sportspeople to train or compete and that the facilities, the tourist offer, trades, tradition, services and attendance for sportspeople meet the sports requirements.
