GENERAL PROVISIONS

COMPETITION FORMAT
Groups of three, four, or five clubs will be formed for each registered category. Teams will face each other in a single-match round-robin system during the regular phase of the tournament. The top two teams from each group will advance to the next phase (quarter-finals or semi-finals).
STANDINGS SYSTEM AND WILD CARDS (REPESCAS)
Qualification for the next knockout phase will be determined by points: three (3) points for a win, one (1) point for a draw, and zero (0) points for a loss.
- Tie between two teams: In the event of a tie in points between two teams in the final group standings, the winner of the head-to-head match played between them will advance to the next round. If the head-to-head match also ended in a draw, it will be resolved successively by applying the general tie-breaking criteria.
- Tie between three or more teams: If the tie involves three or more teams in the final standings, the tie will be resolved by directly and successively applying the general tie-breaking criteria.
- Wild card rule: The wild card team will be the one that obtained the best overall score in the first phase (total matches in the group stage). In the event of a tie in points, the same order of successive criteria will apply (goal difference, goals scored, fair play, and a draw). A team that advances to a phase through the wild card system cannot benefit from this format again in subsequent rounds.
GENERAL TIE-BREAKING CRITERIA
To apply the following criteria, all matches played in the group stage will be taken into account:
To apply the following criteria, all matches played in the group stage will be taken into account:
- Greater overall goal difference: Goals scored minus goals conceded.
- Highest number of total goals scored.
- Fair play: The team with the lowest score for accumulated cards will qualify. The penalty scale is established as follows: Direct red card: 4 points; Double yellow card: 2 points; Yellow card: 1 point.
- A draw conducted by the organizing committee in the event that absolute equality persists.
PENALTY SHOOT-OUT
In the event that matches in the direct knockout phases (round of 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals, and final) end in a tie at the end of regulation time, a penalty shoot-out of five (5) penalties per team will take place directly. The winner will be the team that scores more goals in the shoot-out.
If the tie persists after the first five regulation penalties, the sudden-death system will continue (one penalty at a time) until one team has scored one more goal than the other, both having taken exactly the same number of shots.
COMPETITION COMMITTEE AND FIELD RULES
A Competition Committee will be formed, consisting of a president and two members. All clubs participating in Travel Sports tournaments must abide by, without any exception, the final resolutions determined by this committee.
If a club fails to present the original physical ID card, passport, or federation license before the start of the match, the opposing team will be obliged to play the match, and must formalize the corresponding claim in the match report. This report will be delivered to the Competition Committee, which will rule on the matter that same day. The presentation of any mandatory documents will not be accepted once the match has concluded.
Players' jerseys must be numbered on the back. In the event of participating without numbers, the committee will decide accordingly. If a team, due to exceptional damage to a jersey number or a last-minute lack of stock, has to play with a single unnumbered jersey, the main referee will decide on the pitch whether their participation is allowed.
SUBSTITUTIONS
All players registered on the club's official list may be included in the report for each match.
Substitutions will be rolling. Each team may request permission from the referee and make substitutions in a maximum of three (3) substitution windows per match, in addition to the half-time interval. Furthermore, a team may take advantage of the interruption for their own benefit to substitute players at the moment the opposing team requests their own window.
On the other hand, in the event that either goalkeeper suffers a serious injury during the match, an extraordinary substitution of the affected goalkeeper for a substitute player will be permitted, even if the three regulation opportunities have already been used.
SANCTIONS
Any player sent off the pitch for unsportsmanlike conduct via a direct red card will be sanctioned by the committee with a one (1) match ban, a two (2) match ban, or total exclusion from the tournament, depending on the severity of the facts recorded in the match report. If, conversely, the sending-off is due to an accumulation of yellow cards (double caution), the player will be sanctioned based on what is stated in the match report or its annex.
If the sent-off player persists in subsequent unsportsmanlike conduct, they may be sanctioned with a two (2) match ban or permanent exclusion from the tournament, as recorded in the official report. Single yellow cards shown in each match will not accumulate toward the following matchdays.
MATCH SUSPENSIONS
If a team withdraws or fails to appear on the pitch without justification, the opposing team will win the three points with an official score of 3 to 0. If the committee understands that the withdrawal is carried out premeditatedly to favor a third party's standings, it will act with the utmost sporting severity. In the event that any team permanently withdraws from the competition during the tournament, the result of all its matches (both played and pending) will become 3 to 0 against them.
A strict courtesy margin of fifteen (15) minutes from the official scheduled time will be granted. After this time, the absent team will be considered a no-show and will lose the match, except in exceptional cases of force majeure duly proven to the committee.
Any team that fails to appear due to a demonstrable coach breakdown or serious traffic problems on the road may justify it before the committee. The organization will reschedule and provide alternative match times so that the previously suspended match can be played in its entirety. (WE KINDLY ASK ALL CLUBS TO SHOW THE UTMOST SPORTSMANSHIP AND UNDERSTANDING, WAITING FOR THE NECESSARY TIME TO ENSURE THAT THE CHILDREN CAN ENJOY THE MATCH. THE CHILDREN WILL THANK YOU).
In the event that any match must be permanently suspended due to force majeure weather conditions or causes beyond the organization's control, it will be considered finished with the score at the time of the interruption. However, the committee reserves the right to definitively validate said result or decree the resumption of the match by playing the remaining time if conditions permit.
If the suspension of the match is due to a physical or verbal assault by one of the players, coaching staff, or club supporters against the referee or organizing staff, this committee will immediately declare the assaulting team the loser of the match, awarding the three points and a 3-0 score to the opposing team. The official resolution of any suspended match will be issued based on what is stated in the official match report or its annex.
CLAIMS
All team claims arising during the matches will be communicated in writing to the official field delegate, who will record them in the match report or formally attach them as an annex, so that, once received by the Competition Committee, it can determine its resolution. This resolution will be communicated as quickly as possible. Claims will only be accepted if formalized directly at the field facilities and up to one hour after the match has ended. (UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL THE COMPETITION COMMITTEE ATTEND TO CLAIMS SUBMITTED OUTSIDE THE PITCH).
This committee clarifies that claims for refereeing errors, by general regulations, cannot modify the technical result of the matches. Therefore, formal complaints about the performance of the referees will be taken into account strictly for the internal assessment of the tournament's refereeing body, in order to ensure that said referee does not officiate any further matches for the affected team during the tournament.

ANNEX REGULATIONS FOR 7-A-SIDE FOOTBALL CATEGORIES
- Offside zone: At each end of the pitch and thirteen (13) meters from the goal line, a line parallel to the goal line will be drawn connecting both touchlines to delimit the offside zone. For a player to be in an offside position, they must be ahead of the opponent's thirteen (13) meter line and closer to the opponent's goal line than the ball at the moment it is played, unless there are at least two opponents between them and the opponent's goal line.
- Penalties: In the event that matches in the direct knockout phases (round of 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals, and final) end in a tie at the end of regulation time, a penalty shoot-out of three (3) penalties per team will take place directly. The winner will be the team that scores more goals in the shoot-out. If the tie persists after the first three mandatory penalties, the sudden-death system will continue (one penalty at a time) until one team has scored one more goal than the other, both having taken exactly the same number of shots.
- Temporary cautions (Sin-bins): The referee will have the discretionary power to sanction, as appropriate, any player who shows unsportsmanlike conduct during the match. The referee may apply a temporary dismissal to the player with a penalty of one (1) or two (2) minutes off the pitch. If the foul is considered very serious, or for violent or abusive conduct, the referee may sanction the player with a direct red card, recording it in detail in the match report.
- Back-pass to the goalkeeper: A back-pass to the goalkeeper will be punished with an indirect free kick against them when the goalkeeper receives or touches the ball with their hands after it has been deliberately kicked to them by a teammate who last played the ball with their foot.
- Goal from own half: Goals will be valid from any area of the pitch, including shots taken from a team's own half of the field or even directly from the kick-off. There are no distance restrictions for scoring.
- Match results (Maximum goal difference): In order to respect the educational spirit of grassroots sport, matches will have their score restricted to a maximum difference of no more than ten (10) goals; any excess goals beyond this margin will not be taken into account. The official result recorded in the match reports and in the general standings will be automatically reduced so that the maximum difference is capped at a ten (10) goal advantage (for example, a real score of 13-1 will be officially recorded as 11-1). Substitutions: Each team may make all the changes they deem appropriate freely, and the players leaving the pitch may re-enter multiple times. (THERE WILL BE NO LIMIT ON SUBSTITUTIONS AND NO WINDOW RESTRICTIONS).
The tournament organization, safeguarding its good name and the interests of the participating clubs, wishes to emphasize that good behavior and respect are fundamental to enjoying a pleasant event. It is not the wish of this organization to have to disqualify any club from the competition due to repeated bad behavior.
